Maintaining the historical significance of the 1850’s New York townhouse while modernizing the interior & rear was the driver of this redesign. Clean lines, stained oak, natural light and blackened steel connection points highlight the unique material palette and simple architectural details. My involvement included production drawings ensuring a satisfactory solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, code research, material and building system research, site surveys, calculating program and building areas with timeliness of the delivery without compromising quality.
